More than 30 goals were scored by 12 teams who participated in the Smarter than Smoking Junior Cup Final on Saturday at Hartfield Park in Forrestfield.
Hundreds of parents and friends gathered to support players during every game, with six teams celebrating their victories. Every game was played on one pitch, creating an exciting atmosphere for players.
U12 teams from Rockingham City and Perth SC commenced a day of football, with Rockingham winning 4-2 on penalties following a 1-1 draw after regular time.
Perth SC then defeated Perth Glory 4-3 in the U13 age group, before Sorrento claimed a 4-2 victory over ECU Joondalup in the U14 final.
Stirling Lions celebrated a 3-0 win over ECU Joondalup in the U15 final, Balcatta defeated Melville City 2-1 in the U16 age group, and Melville City claimed a 4-2 victory over Warnbro Strikers in the U18 Final to finish the day.
