Former Matildas star Collette McCallum has been named as the head coach of the Gold Fields Women’s State Team for the match against Perth Glory.
McCallum will be joined by Faye Chambers, who will be her assistant for the fixture.
Football West Head of Development Jamie Harnwell said: “It is great to see Collette and Faye in charge of the Gold Fields Women’s State Team for the game against Perth Glory.
“Collette’s playing experience is second to none and it is a real opportunity for the state players to learn from one of the best players to grace a Matilda’s shirt.

The Gold Fields State Team v Perth Glory match will take place on Saturday, October 6 at 5pm. The venue is set to be confirmed later this week.
Last year’s match between the sides at Hartfield Park finished in a 2-0 win for Glory thanks to late goals from Lexie Moreno and Caitlin Doeglas in front of more than 800 people.
Gold Fields is the sponsor of all of Football West’s State Teams.
