Prominent WA car dealership McInerney Ford is the new major sponsor of the Top Four Cup and Junior Top Four Cup for the next two seasons.

The McInerney Ford Top Four Cup will take place at the end of the PS4 National Premier Leagues WA season.

The McInerney Ford Junior Top Four Cup is scheduled to take place over three weeks commencing on Sunday, September 10 and concluding on Sunday, September 24.

The new deal continues a long-standing relationship between McInerney Ford and Western Australian football.

Dealer Principal Denis McInerney is delighted to be continuing McInerney Ford’s support of Football West and WA football through the sport’s top-tier finals series.

“We have been supporting Football West in developing the game for a long time and we are looking forward to continuing our partnership through the McInerney Ford Top Four Cup,” he said.

“Finals football is exciting for everyone involved. Through our partnership with Football West we will continue to embrace the growth of the game while celebrating the level of football talent in WA.”

Football West Chief Executive Officer James Curtis said the partnership would provide additional exposure for the game to the wider football community.

“McInerney Ford have long supported Football West and our extended partnership will give us further capacity to grow the sport in WA,” Curtis said.

“The McInerney Ford Top Four Cup is a celebration of the highest-performing teams in the State and McInerney Ford’s involvement will greatly assist us in presenting a high-quality event for the next two seasons.

“We look forward to working with Denis and his team to make the McInerney Ford Top Four Cup a great celebration of the football talent we have in our State.”

The McInerney Ford Top Four Cup semi-finals will take place on Saturday, September 2 with the McInerney Ford Top Four Cup Preliminary Final held on Wednesday, September 6.

The series concludes with the McInerney Ford Top Four Cup Grand Final on Saturday, September 9.

This year’s grand final will be held at the home of Bayswater City, Finance 365 Stadium (Frank Drago Reserve).

The full-day event will involve McInerney Ford Top Four Cup Grand Finals in the under-18, under-20 and first team categories.

Full fixture details including kick-off times and venues will be announced at the conclusion of the regular season.
