WA fundraising giant Telethon has secured a world-first partnership with international sport’s biggest brand, Manchester United, ahead of the club’s visit to Perth in July.
The arrangement, through the Manchester United Foundation, will help develop a soccer program which will allow children with physical and intellectual disabilities to play in an integrated team competition with clubs around Perth.
It was revealed that $5 from every ticket sold will go to Telethon to fund the project.
