Mandurah City will face Armadale in the semi-finals of the QBE Night Series after the top-flight newcomers beat Floreat Athena at E&D Litis Stadium on Saturday.
Bayswater City and Sorrento will also meet in the semi-final stages after victory over ECU Joondalup and Inglewood United.
Floreat star Ludo Boi had given his side an early lead against Mandurah with a goal after just 13 minutes and the home team looked to be heading for the next round.
But Mandurah, who will play in the PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues WA for the first time this season, equalised through Joe O’Brien with 13 minutes to play.
A red card to Floreat’s Taban Makoii tipped the scales in Mandurah’s favour and Ryan Francis took advantage with the winning goal in the 85th minute.
Armadale continued their good form with a 3-0 win over Stirling Lions. Kyle King scored twice for Army, his goals coming after 15 and 40 minutes, while Jordan Pavett sealed the win in the 70th minute.
Sorrento’s Scott Bulloch scored twice and Scott Witschge was also on target – against the club he played for last season – as the Gulls secured a 3-0 win over host Inglewood United at the Perth Plaster Board Stadium yesterday.
Goals from Trent Kay and Bor Bor Sam gave Bayswater City a 2-0 win over ECU Joondalup to set up their semi-final against Sorrento.
