UPDATED: Members of the visiting Shanghai FA attended the first round of the NPL Night Series tonight as they continued their visit to Perth.
The five-man delegation are guests of Football West and were at Perth Plasterboard Centre Stadium to watch the Inglewood United v Sorrento match.
SFA General Secretary Yi Lin and his team took in the Perth Glory-Adelaide United Hyundai A-League fixture at HBF Park on Wednesday night, while earlier today they had a tour of Optus Stadium.

The Shanghai FA delegation met WA State Sports Minister Mick Murray and received presentations at the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries about Football West programs such as skill development, skills acquisition, women’s football, ALDI MiniRoos and community coaching.
Football West and the SFA signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding last year to deliver improved player, coach and referee exchange programs between the two bodies.

Football West Chief Operating Officer Greg Blycha said the visit had had enormous benefits for both Football West and the Shanghai FA.
“It has been a pleasure to host the Shanghai FA and provide an insight into the work we do here in WA,” he said.
“One of our core aims is to build our ties in Asia and these visits further strengthen our ties. The feedback received during the week has been very positive and we see this as the first step in a fruitful relationship”.

Along with Mr Lin, the others in the Shanghai FA delegation currently in WA are Vice General Secretary Fugui Chen, Director of Women’s Football Wei Chen, Director of Administration Jing Tian and consultant Scott Tu.
Last week Football West Chairman Liam Twigger met Shanghai FA President Zhu Guanghu in China.
