Football West News

Football West is looking to fill two coaching positions within its National Training Centre program and is also seeking two Regional Development Officers.

The positions in the NTC are an Assistant Coach and a Girls Goalkeeper Coach.

The Regional Development Officers are required for Bunbury and South West and for Albany and Great Southern.

The NTC for girls is the Elite Development Pathway in WA and is a player centred program established by FFA in conjunction with Football West to assist most potential talented young female players with their football development as potential prospects for the National Youth Team.

Assistant Coach

The NTC Girls Assistant Coach has the responsibility to assist the NTC Girls Head Coaches in both the training and game aspects of the NTC Girls 2019 program for U14’s, U15’s and U19’s age groups.

This role is a casual position, with an average of 3 working hours a week for 42-44 weeks of the year. The program runs from November 2018 until the end of October 2019 and the successful candidate would need to be available during this time period.

Goalkeeper Coach

The NTC Girls Goalkeeper Coach has the responsibility to assist the NTC Girls Head Coaches in both the training and game aspects of the NTC Girls 2019 program for U14’s right through to U19’s age groups.

This is a casual position, with an average of 3 working hours a week for 42-44 weeks of the year. The program runs from November 2018 until the end of October 2019 and the successful candidate would need to be available during this time period.

Regional Development Officers

The two Regional Development Officer vacancies are for full time positions.

The Development Officer has the primary responsibility to grow and service the game by acting a liaison between Football West and regional associations, clubs, players, officials and other stakeholders in the game.
