Socceroos ready for Syria challenge

The Caltex Socceroos are in the final stages of their preparations for tonight’s 2018 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers – Asian Play-off match against Syria.

Ange Postecoglou’s side will take on Syria at the Hang Jebat Stadium in Melaka this evening, before returning home to play Ayman Hakeem’s team at Stadium Australia, Sydney on Tuesday 10 October 2017.

Should Australia successfully defeat Syria over two legs, the Caltex Socceroos will advance to the CONCACAF-Asian Zone Play-off (home and away) in November 2017 for a place at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
