WA sides finish National Youth Championships

Football West News

The Gold Fields Under 13 and Under 14 State sides completed their campaigns at the National Youth Championships in Coffs Harbour on Friday.

The Under 13s went down 5-2 to Northern NSW, with ECU Joondalup’s Toby Snook building on his prolific week with two more goals.

It was also a disappointing day for the Under 14s, who suffered their first loss of the week when going down 4-2 to Queensland Metro. ECU pair Kane McEwan and Aidan Coyne (pen) were on target.

There was some WA success with Perth Glory claiming the Under 13 and Under 14 titles in the Two-star Academy category.

Gold Fields is the sponsor of all Football West State teams.
