Football West is conducting a series of Advanced Coach Education Workshops for coaches who have their C and B Licences, designed to improve their tactical and technical knowledge and game awareness.
The workshops, which will run from July 1 to September 9, cover topics including tactical training, skill training and problem-solving techniques.
Football West Technical Director Cris Ola will run workshops with Skill Acquisition Trainer Brad Hassell. Ola said the workshops are designed to address specific aspects of the training and match processes for accredited coaches.
“The course will not only benefit the coaches who undertake it,” he said. “It will also benefit the players who someday end up playing under these coaches and learning valuable skill sets from them through successful coaching strategies.
“The purpose of the theoretical and practical aspects presented in each workshop is to bridge the gap between normal C Licence and B Licence courses.”
