This saw the introduction of a uniform Junior Development League with separate U13-U16 competitions for both Boys/Mixed and Girls. The Boys/Mixed JDL replaced the Junior NPL structure.
Below the JDL Football West introduced the Junior Community League for teams and players who prefer to play local football, replacing the existing community junior leagues.
The Junior Development Cup and Junior Community Cup replaced the previous Junior Cup tournaments.
Each pathway is tailored to support specific club goals, from nurturing elite talent and club-wide growth to fostering local community participation.
