FFA Cup: Gwelup Croatia heading to Albany

Football West News

Gwelup Croatia will hit the road to Albany next month after they were drawn away at Polonia FC in Round Three of the FFA Cup.

Taki Nicolaidis’ State League Division One team advanced to the national Round of 32 in the competition last year, defeating three NPL WA sides on the way.

One team making the trip in the opposite direction are Albany Caledonia, who will face Gwelup’s fellow Division One outfit Morley Windmills.

Bunbury United host Swan United, while Curtin University are away at Yanchep United.

The matches will be played on the weekend of April 6 and 7, with four teams having direct entry to Round Four – Joondalup City, Canning City, Kelmscott Roos and UWA Nedlands.
