The Indonesian men’s national football team will play a match against a State League Representative side at Forrestfield United’s Hartfield Park this Saturday (kick off 4pm).
The touring outfit have been in Perth this week for a training camp. They also enjoyed a run-out against a Perth Glory XI at E&D Litis Stadium on Wednesday night, which the Indonesians won 3-1.
Football West Development Officer Brad Hassell will coach the State League team, with James Sammut of Gwelup Croatia the captain.
Football West Head of Development Jamie Harnwell said: “It’s a fantastic opportunity for our State League players to test themselves against international players.
“There are a lot of Indonesian people living in Perth and we expect a good crowd to come along.”

Harnwell added: “We understand the match clashes with the opening round of the NPL but this was the time the Indonesian team wanted to play. They fly back on Sunday and it is great for us to accommodate them.”
Two of the Indonesia internationals, Greg Nwokolo and Stefano Lilipaly, attended the NPL Night Series finals at Frank Drago Reserve last Saturday.
