The Western Australian Christian Football Association (WACFA) celebrated the 2019 season at their closing ceremony on Saturday at Maida Vale Reserve.
WACFA has been a proud part of the WA football scene for almost 20 years, during which time Football West has enjoyed a rich relationship with WACFA.
The partnership supports accessibility and community involvement and encourages the skill level of football to grow at every age level in our state.
Football West has provided WACFA with opportunities to upskill both players and coaches. In turn, WACFA has brought new football clubs to the scene in Western Australia. Football West and WACFA have provided mutual support to strengthen football in WA, growing quality players and clubs who play the game in the right spirit.
Football West Chief Operating Officer Greg Blycha presented the association’s end of season awards.
“The growth of WACFA players, coaches, parents and countless volunteers is commendable. The Association continues to evolve and grow year on year and Football West looks forward to continuing the partnership and continued growth,” he said.
