2025 Belt Up ball distribution: clubs invited to collect footballs
Football West is kicking off its annual Belt Up ball distribution, marking the eighth year of our partnership with the Insurance Commission of Western Australia to promote road safety.
This Belt Up campaign aims to increase public awareness about the importance of wearing seat belts to minimise the risk of injury from serious motor vehicle accidents.
Each year, more than 2,000 footballs featuring the Belt Up message are distributed to clubs across regional and metropolitan WA, supporting players statewide.
Metro clubs competing in the Belt Up Men’s Amateur, Men’s Metro, Men’s Masters and Women’s Leagues will receive 12 branded footballs each, while Football West Community Participation Officers will distribute balls to selected regional clubs.
The Belt Up balls will be available for collection from Wednesday 30 April from our distribution partners over four weeks.
An email outlining the details for the Belt Up balls collection has been sent to all participating clubs. If your club is eligible but has not yet received the email, don't hesitate to get in touch with the Football West Partnerships team at beltup@footballwest.com.au (please check your spam or junk folder).
We encourage all the clubs to participate in this campaign by sharing images and videos of their players with the Belt Up balls on their social media channels.
