Football West has opened registrations for trials for the 2025 Hyundai National Training Centre (NTC) Girls program.
For players born in 2009 and 2010 the trials will also serve as identification for our National Youth Championships Girls State Team extended squads.
Hyundai NTC Girls program overview
- Four playing squads covering ages U13 to U18.

Players born in 2009 and 2010 are eligible to participate in the National Youth Championships (NYC). This tournament serves as a talent identification opportunity for Football Australia coaching staff to select players for Junior Matildas and Young Matildas camps and tournaments. We will commence preparations for this from November 2024 where NTC players and selected State Team extended squad members will train together once per week.
Membership players
- Open to players U13 to U14
- Train and develop together with NTC players under our NTC coaches
- One training per week in addition to your club commitments
- Pathway into National Youth Championships selection when age eligible
Football West is excited to add an important entry pathway into our NTC.
Commencing Term 4, 2024 we will have an Under 12 membership squad which will train together and start learning the fundamentals, which will continue during Term 1, 2025.
When the season starts, these players will return to their clubs and come together monthly for a bespoke games program.
Players trialing for the Hyundai NTC program will be considered for their birth year age group. Please note players born outside these dates will not be allowed to trial
Players must attend the first two trials. The third trial is invite-only for players who have been successful after the first two trials.
Players are asked to show up 15 minutes before each session.
