Football West is running its second FA Women In Football Leadership Program early next year.
The program will run between 17 February and 30 March and is open to women aged 18 and over involved in all areas of football, from players, coaches and referees to administrators, volunteers, and board members.
Football West Manager – Female Football & Advocacy Tash Rigby said: “Following the success of the initial Women in Football Leadership Program when the Matildas came to WA in October 2023, we are excited to be holding the second round of this highly impactful course.
“The FA Women In Football Leadership Program looks to develop the skills and knowledge of each participant while building confidence in women to pursue leadership roles and/or take the next step in their careers.
“The learning outcomes from the program cover sport governance, strength identification, storytelling, emotional intelligence, effective communication, change management and leadership.”
