Game on for State League Night Series quarter-finals

The quarter-finals of the State League Night Series take place this weekend, starting with a repeat of the 2018 final.

All four games will be played at Forrestfield United’s Game Guardian Stadium, with Fremantle City against UWA Nedlands getting things under way on Friday night.

Fremantle defeated UWA 4-1 in the final two years ago and head into their latest clash with the best form of all eight qualifiers – they won their three Group A matches, scoring 15 goals and conceding none.

UWA Nedlands advanced as one of the two best second-place teams, as did Stirling Lions who will face Group E winners Olympic Kingsway on the same night.

On Saturday, Wanneroo City take on Western Knights, the second team to go through with a 100% record, before current holders Forrestfield meet Murdoch University Melville.
