2022 Community Awards winners

Football West is delighted to announce the winners and finalists of the 2022 Community Awards, the inaugural edition of this initiative to shine a light on the biggest part of our game.

Football West Club Engagement Lead Abid Imam said: “Football has many passionate volunteers, thriving clubs and a growing participation base across a wide range of programs. It has been a great pleasure to celebrate grassroots WA football and acknowledge the wins across our community.”

To determine the winners, the judging panel brought together a diverse group of individuals ranging from Football Australia, a Football West Life Member, a previous Volunteer of the Year winner and Computing Australia Group.

There was an extra reward for the winner of the Volunteer of the Year, with their club receiving a $5,000 branding package from Computing Australia Group and a $1,000 sports voucher courtesy of Healthway.

Football West wishes to congratulate all the winners, finalists and nominees and thank everybody who submitted nominations.

The winners will be presented with their prizes in the next few months at various events and opportunities.
