2023 C Licence dates

Football West has released the dates for its first metro Football Australia/AFC C Licence courses for 2023 (see below).

What is the C Licence?

Coaches at all levels play a crucial role in ensuring that football is an enjoyable experience for everyone, as well as laying the foundation for the development of better players. As such, our Coach Education courses have been designed to support you in whatever role you have within football.

The main focus of the required coaching competency on the C Licence is on the technical aspects of the game, which includes teaching the techniques of passing, receiving, striking the ball and running with the ball, along with defending techniques to regain possession. The required technical knowledge will be supported with an understanding of The Principles of Play and the fundamentals of coaching. Participants will be introduced to the concept of teaching behaviour in different types of practice methods as part of the education program, but also to provide insight into the B Licence.

2023 Football Australia/AFC C Licence

There will be two courses running simultaneously early in 2023, one on a Saturday and the other a Sunday.

COST: $1230 per course (inc GST).

Please note that any individual registrations without payment will not be processed. However, if a club is paying for a coach to attend the C Licence course then the club must email Football West Coach Development Officer Garry Church to confirm they will be making the payment.
