2025 Belt Up Round on 7-8 June

This year's Belt Up Round will take place on the weekend of 7-8 June.

Belt Up Round is a Football West-Insurance Commission initiative that promotes the importance of motorists wearing a seatbelt.

Around 450 teams will participate in the 2025 Belt Up Round from the following competitions:

• Belt Up Men’s Amateur League
• Belt Up Men’s Metropolitan League
• Belt Up Men’s Masters League
• Women’s League

Two matches will be live-streamed on Sunday 8 June:

• 11am – Belt Up Amateur Premier Reserves: North Perth United v Olympic Kingsway
• 1pm – Belt Up Amateur Premier First Team: North Perth United v Olympic Kingsway

Players will enter the pitch sporting specially designed Belt Up bibs.

The Belt Up Round also extends to regional competitions, while Football West has begun to distribute 2,000 footballs branded with the Belt Up message to clubs across the state as part of the partnership with the Insurance Commission.

We encourage participating clubs to support the round by:

• Using the Belt Up ball as the match ball
• Sharing team photos featuring the Belt Up ball
• Promoting the new Belt Up campaign using the collateral, which can be downloaded HERE
