The CommBank Matildas will kick off the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup against the Philippines at Perth Stadium (Optus Stadium).
The opening Group A fixture will take place at 5pm on Sunday 1 March, following the Opening Ceremony. It is a repeat of the 2023 Olympic qualifier at the same venue, which saw Australia win 8-0 in front of a sell-out 60,000 crowd.
The Matildas’ other group matches are against Iran on the Gold Coast and Korea Republic in Sydney.
Joe Montemurro’s side will return to Perth for their quarter-final should they finish second in the group.
There are six other group matches in WA, all at Perth Rectangular Stadium (HBF Park).

On Wednesday 4 March, there is a Group C double-header as heavyweights Japan meet Chinese Taipei at 1pm followed by Vietnam against India at 7pm. The same four teams are then in action on Saturday 7 March, with Chinese Taipei up against Vietnam and India facing Japan.
On Monday 9 March, it is the turn of Group B to come to Perth, as Bangladesh and Uzbekistan do battle.
The final group fixture in the city is 24 hours later, on Tuesday 10 March as Japan meet Vietnam.

There are also three knockout matches in Perth. There are two quarter-finals at Perth Rectangular Stadium – the runners-up from Group A against the runners-up from Group B on Friday 13 March, then the winners of Group B versus second in Group C on Saturday 14 March.
Those two quarter-final winners will then meet at Perth Stadium in the semi-final on Tuesday 17 March.
The final is at Stadium Australia in Sydney on Saturday 21 March.
