2026 Belt Up ball distribution kicks off
Football West has commenced the 2026 Belt Up ball distribution, marking the ninth year of our partnership with the Insurance Commission of Western Australia to promote the Belt Up road safety campaign.
This campaign aims to increase public awareness about the importance of wearing seat belts to minimise the risk of injury from serious motor accidents.
Each year, more than 2,000 footballs featuring the Belt Up message are distributed to clubs across regional and metropolitan WA, supporting players statewide.
Metro clubs competing in the Belt Up Men’s Amateur, Men’s Metro, Men’s Masters and Construction Training Fund Women’s League will receive 12 branded footballs, while our Community Participation Officers will distribute additional balls to selected regional clubs.
The Belt Up balls are available for collection over a four-week period. Eligible clubs have been emailed with collection details. If your club has not received this email, please contact beltup@footballwest.com.au.
As part of this initiative, we ask that clubs share photos and videos of the balls on their social channels using the hashtag #BeltUp.
Footbsall West thanks the Insurance Commission of Western Australia for its ongoing support and for providing this valuable equipment to our clubs while promoting safe driving.
