Armadale, Kingsway and Inglewood maintain winning starts

Armadale are top of Group A in the NPLWA - Men's Night Series after they made it two wins from two with a 3-1 victory over Balcatta Etna at Dalmatinac Park.
Ben Hinshelwood's second goal in as many weeks had Balcatta up at the break. But Armadale turned it around after the interval through a Daniel Robinson penalty and further goals from Peter Jacobsz and Amir Ajan.
Floreat Athena looked set to join Armadale on maximum points thanks to Nicholas Ambrogio's first-half penalty at Frank Drago Reserve. However, for the second week running Perth SC pinched a draw with a late goal, this time through Abdul Osman's header with the final touch of the match.
Stirling Macedonia also struck late as they beat hosts Bayswater City 1-0 to join Floreat on four points. Alex Tanevski, who scored two against Perth in Round One, netted the winner.

In Group B, Olympic Kingsway and Inglewood United extended their winning starts t victories at Inglewood Stadium.
Kingsway were too strong for Perth Glory, running out 3-0 winners. Calum O'Connell, Ciaran Byrne and Raeez Pandor were the scorers.
Inglewood, meanwhile, delighted their home fans with a 3-1 defeat of Sorrento. Inglewood's goals came from Michael Domfeh (2) and Anthony Bafobusha, with Ryan McLaughlin on target for the Gulls.

Also in Group B, Cockburn City and Perth RedStar both collected their first point with a 1-1 draw. John Guya's effort had City ahead at half-time, only for Daryl Nicol to earn RedStar a draw near the end.
