Baldivis Districts FC named June's Club Changer Club of the Month
Football West would like to congratulate Baldivis Districts FC who have been named our Club Changer Club of the Month for June.
June's Club Changer theme was safeguarding, and Baldivis Districts, established in 2016 and the only female-only club in Western Australia, has actively participated in many safeguarding initiatives to ensure that it provides a safe and inclusive environment.
Club president Renae Fussell said: “Player wellbeing is our top priority. We are dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all, supported by initiatives like the Sideline Behaviour Initiative.
"Our approach to safeguarding is guided by our core values, which drive our commitment to fostering a positive, respectful space where women and girls can thrive in football and in life.”
Football West Community Football manager Abid Imam said: "Congratulations to Baldivis Districts Football Club. The fantastic team there has been outstanding in the area of safeguarding and in nine years, they have built a club that is welcoming and respectful for women and girls with strong values. It is great to see them recognised."
