Football West will hold a C Licence assessment for coaches next month.
The live assessment is for both Senior and Youth C Licence coaches and will take place at Gibbney Reserve, Maylands, on Saturday 24 July between 8.30am-2.30pm.
Coaches that are doing their Senior C Licence (Game Training) component will get the opportunity to use players from Football West’s Hyundai Talent Support Program (TSP), as long as their assessments take place between 8.30-11am.
Senior C Licence coaches who are doing their assessment after 11am, and all Youth C Licence coaches doing their Skill Acquisition Program (SAP) component throughout the day, must bring their own players.
The requirement is that coaches have a full session plan prepared on a Football Australia session planner. This must be emailed to Football West Coach Development Officer Garry Church at garry.church@footballwest.com.au before you can book your assessment. This will give Football West an opportunity to review the session plan before the practical session to make sure it meets the required standard set by Football Australia.
If your session plan needs more work, you will be asked to make the required amendments before your practical session can be booked in. Please be aware without a full session plan you will not be considered.
A confirmation email will be sent to successful applicants allocating a time slot.
All the requirements on which coaches will be assessed for their session plans, and the delivery of their session are in the Football Australia Practical Assessment Rubric below:
