Stacey Cavill was the star as Perth SC booked their place in next Saturday's NPLW Top Four Cup final by beating Perth RedStar on penalties after their semi-final finished 0-0 after extra-time.
The Azzurri keeper saved four RedStar spot-kicks to help the State Cup winners to a 3-2 shoot-out victory over the league champions at RedStar Arena. Charli Wainwright converted the final penalty.
RedStar will have a second chance in Wednesday night's preliminary final against Balcatta Etna, who also went through on penalties after they drew 1-1 with Fremantle City.
Liana Cook put Balcatta ahead on 72 minutes, only for Mia Yeo to level soon after. There were no further goals which meant extra-time and then penalties, where Rebecca Bennett saved two spot-kicks as Balcatta prevailed 3-1.
Details of the Redstar-Balcatta game will be announced today.
