Female Football Week: Register now for panel discussion and Hyundai Building Stronger Clubs launch

Football West will be hosting a Football Panel Discussion as part of the 2022 Female Football Week.

It will take place at the Floreat Athena Clubroom in E&D Litis Stadium between 10-11.30am on Sunday 6 March.

The discussion will coincide with the launch of the Hyundai Building Stronger Clubs Workshop Series.

Our club-focused workshop and webinar series will provide practical advice and guidance on a range of topics, including building strong club committees, engaging volunteers, inclusive participation, managing club finances and budgets, applying for funding and grants and infrastructure.

The Hyundai Building Stronger Clubs sessions will provide opportunity for discussion and information sharing between clubs to encourage growth and collaboration.

To launch the Football West’s Hyundai Building Stronger Clubs Series we are delighted to present a panel discussion featuring some local leaders in female football to share their journeys and provide advice to clubs on ideas and strategies to grow female participation at all levels of football. The panelists will be confirmed next week.

You are invited to attend this workshop in-person or online. Please note that there are limited spaces due to COVID restrictions so BOOK HERE NOW. Simply click on the 6 March date and 10am time then press 'Confirm'.

This panel discussion and interactive Q & A will provide participants with a deeper understanding of what it takes to build female participation at club level.

Our panel guests will include those with experience across a wide range of club operations.

We will also kick off proceedings with an update from Hyundai on the activities to occur through 2022 which will benefit the WA football community.

Football West would encourage club & association representatives, committee members, coaches, referees, female football coordinators and those involved in supporting female participation in football to attend.
