FIFA Fan Festival launched in Perth CBD for Women's World Cup

The FIFA Fan Festival was officially launched on Thursday as the fan destination for Perth/Boorloo during the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

Deputy Premier Rita Saffioti, City of Perth Lord Mayor Bazil Zempilas, and Football West - Manager Female Football & Advocacy Sarah Du Plessis all spoke.

Other guests included Sport and Recreation Minister David Templeman and Football West WA Legacy Ambassador Tash Rigby.

The FIFA Fan Festival is set to bring Forrest Place alive with football fever from 20 July – 20 August.

Fans can enjoy live match broadcasts, live music and performances, football activations and food and beverages throughout the month-long tournament.

This FIFA Fan Festival is free and open to the public.

Sharon Wood Kenney performed the Welcome to Country while Karen Tighe was the MC.
