Senior and Junior matches scheduled for Sunday will go ahead as planned.

Football West recognises the efforts of clubs in trying to get their games on in the short turnaround and the barriers faced.

Please remember the State Government restrictions are in place until 12.01am Tuesday 6 July.

These include:

  • No spectators permitted at any football activities, including matches, training, progams etc. However parents can assist where young children require support, but subject to 4sqm rule
  • No indoor community sport can take place
  • Face masks must be worn both indoors and outdoors

We appreciate these restrictions may not be ideal. However, as we have done from day one, we want as many people to play football when there is an opportunity to do so.

Football West asks you to please adhere to the Government advice and to do the right thing.

The Government has advised that after Tuesday, indoor and outdoor community sport will be able to resume with spectators.

Please ensure that you follow the expert advice, check in on the SafeWA app and get tested if you feel unwell.

Football West will continue to update the WA football community and visit wa.gov.au/covid19 for further information.
