UPDATED 6 August 2024: The Disciplinary Tribunal has determined the following penalties after reviewing an incident at the end of the NPLWA - Men’s Round Nine match at Litis Stadium between Floreat Athena and Olympic Kingsway during which individuals entered the field of play and instigated an altercation with members of the Olympic Kingsway playing squad:
- A deduction of 3 (three) NPLWA - Men’s competition points, with three further points suspended, aligned to ensuring there is not a further breach of the Code of Conduct or Spectator Code of Behaviour by Floreat Athena
- A fine following the activation of a suspended sentence from 2023
- Four professional accredited (independent) security guards security to be present at first-team home games for the remainder of the NPLWA – Men’s season, including all Top Four Cup games if applicable
Separate sanctions will apply against individuals involved in the incident.
