Football West held the shirt presentation for the Gold Fields WA State Boys teams at the Sam Kerr Football Centre last night.
The players will represent Western Australia at the National Youth Championships for Boys, which take place at WIN Stadium, JJ Kelly Park and Ian McLennan Park in Wollongong, NSW, between 16-21 July.
Gold Fields Nature & Biodiversity Lead Claire Meacher and Football West General Manager ‑ Football David Lewis presented the players with their shirts.
Football West Policy and Advocacy Manager Gareth Naven, who oversees the junior pathway, said: “Well done to all of the players selected and thank you to everyone who made the effort to trial. it is encouraging to see that representing the State still means so much to our young players.
“This is a big opportunity for the players to impress the national talent identification coaches.
“Finally, thanks to Gold Fields Australia for their continued support of our State teams.”
