Hahn Australia Cup: Inglewood avoid Bunbury upset

UPDATE: State League Division One Inglewood United avoided a potential banana skin to advance in the Hahn Australia Cup.
Inglewood, who represented WA on the national stage just two years ago, faced a tricky looking Round Three tie at Bunbury Dynamos on Sunday.
But Cam Lord’s side were too strong for the South West Soccer Association outfit, racing into a 4-0 lead after an hour. The hosts pulled two goals back in the final 12 minutes but Inglewood ran out 4-2 winners.
There was some regional cheer, with Football Margaret River defeating Belt Up Amateur Division One team Ballajura 2-0.
State League Division Two side Canning City knocked out Division One Dianella White Eagles via a penalty shoot-out following a 2-2 draw, and it was a similar story for Wanneroo City who beat Rockingham City on penalties after a 3-3 draw.
State League Night Series winners Kingsley Westside won 4-1 at Ashfield, but last week’s beaten finalists Mandurah City suffered another defeat as they went down 2-1 at Curtin University.
Wembley Downs enjoyed a fine 4-1 victory away to Cockburn City.
There were plenty of goals elsewhere as Gosnells City hit double figures against Northern City, UWA Nedlands won 7-0 at North Beach, MUM FC were 6-2 winners at Queens Park, Perth AFC got five away to Joondanna Blues, while Port Kennedy, North Perth United and Forrestfield United bagged four apiece.
Other teams through include East Perth, South Perth United, Subiaco, Balga, Quinns FC and Gwelup Croatia.
The NPL teams enter the draw for Round Four which will take place this week.
