The players and coaches of the Hyundai Football West Academy have been recognised at the annual presentation evening.
The event took place at Wangara Hyundai, with players and coaches from the U13s, U14s, U16s and U18s in attendance.
Each team announced its Player of the Year, with Football West Manager – Female Football & Advocacy Tash Rigby presenting the awards.
The individual winners were:
- U13s: Sage McInnes
- U14s: Olive Wood-Smith
- U16s: Zoe Dumont
- U18s: Klaudia Houlis

Hyundai Australia Regional General Manager WA Michael Beros and Girls Academy Program Lead Andrew Ord addressed the audience, as did U13s coach Diego Marin, U14s coach Carlos Vega Marin and U18s coach Stephen Walmsley.
Strength and conditioning coach Chris Wing spoke in place of U16s coach Courtney Owen, who was unable to attend.

"The presentation evening was a fitting way to complete the season and we would like to express our gratitude to Hyundai Australia for their support of the Girls program," Ord said.
"It was an opportunity for me to outline what we set out to achieve at the beginning of pre-season and evaluate how it all unfolded.
"I'd like to congratulate the individual award winners who displayed consistent high levels of on-field performance. Additionally, players' commitment to the program and the attitude at training and when interacting with teammates and staff are taken into consideration."

There were draws during the night for the following prizes:
- A pair of Skechers football boots, valued at $380, for one player from each of the four teams
- Two tickets in the Hyundai VIP Suite at the RAC Arena to see Lorde in February 2026
