Inglewood and Baysie hit six

New Inglewood United striker Michael Domfeh continued his excellent NPLM Night Series form on Friday to fire his side to the top of Group B with a 6-0 thrashing of Cockburn City.
The former Perth SC and Stirling striker scored a hat-trick at Dalmatinac Park to go with his double against Sorrento last week, as Inglewood made it three wins out of three. The other goals came from Harry Evans (2) and Shubham Mokala.
Second-place Olympic Kingsway dropped their first points of the Night Series after they were held 3-3 by Sorrento, also at Dalmatinac Park.
It looked good for Kingsway as they built a 2-0 lead at the break through Ciaran Byrne and David Perich. John Connolly reduced the arrears before an own goal re-established Kingsway’s two-goal buffer. But Connolly got his second of the game then Gustavo Giron Marulanda levelled for the Gulls.
In the other Group B tie, at E&D Litis Stadium, Perth Glory finished with a flourish to record their first win of the Night Series, 4-3 against Perth RedStar.
RedStar were 3-1 up with just two minutes of the scheduled 90 to play when Shade Stewart pulled one back. Laat Mathiang cthen onverted a penalty to level it up and four minutes into stoppage time, Joshua Anasmo completed an incredible comeback. Mitch Oxborrow scored Glory's first goal.

Meanwhile, Armadale lead the way in Group A after they chalked up a third successive 3-1 victory, this time over Floreat Athena.
Chris Jackson, who has rejoined Armadale from Sorrento, opened the scoring at E&D Litis Stadium, only for Noah Shamaki to equalise for the hosts early in the second half. But George Ballah and Lachlan Collins struck again for Armadale, who look good for a place in the last four.
It's first versus second next week with Armadale going up against Stirling Macedonia, who stay two points behind the leaders after Friday’s 3-1 defeat of Balcatta Etna at Frank Drago Reserve.
Alex Tanevski scored for a third straight Night Series game, with Asher Nelson and Sam Wynne also on target. Kotarto Yamamoto scored for Balcatta.
At the same venue, Bayswater City breathed life into their Night Series campaign with a resounding 6-3 win over Perth SC.
The Azzurri led 2-1 at half-time, with Fanuel Dawit (2) on target for Perth and Kosta Sparta netting for the home side. But it was all Bayswater after the interval, with Jon Stynes, Sparta again, Ndumba Makeche (2) and Samuel Dweh scoring before Toby Snook’s late effort for Perth.
