Mathew Keith was the hero as Inglewood United of State League Division One defeated NPL side Fremantle City in the Hahn Australia Cup Round Five.

Keith netted twice to help Inglewood take a 3-1 half-time lead at Proto DPS Stadium, with Jordan Black the hosts’ other scorer. And though Sam Cook reduced the arrears after the break, adding to Nick Ambrogio’s earlier effort, Inglewood went through to the last eight of the WA section of the competition.

Joe Hobson scored a hat-trick and Tyler Garner the other as Olympic Kingsway beat Perth SC 4-2 in a game between two NPL big guns. Josh Cala and David Ninkovich added late respectability to the scoreline for the Azzurri, but they were well beaten.
