Inglewood send Bayswater crashing out of Australia Cup

State League Division One Inglewood United are one game away from a return to the national stage of the Hahn Australia Cup after they stunned unbeaten NPL leaders Bayswater City in Tuesday night's Round Six tie at Frank Drago Reserve.
Goals from Chad Nilson and Jordan Black either side of the break gave Inglewood a 2-0 win, as Bayswater finished the game with nine men.
This was Inglewood's second top-flight scalp of their cup run, following their defeat of Fremantle City in the previous round. Cam Lord's side now face a third NPL side in Stirling Macedonia, who advanced via a penalty shoot-out following a goalless draw with Western Knights at Macedonia Park.
Elsewhere on Tuesday, NPL Balcatta Etna beat MUM FC 2-1. Ben Hinshelwood put Balcatta ahead with Angel Andres Rivera levelling for the Division One team before the break. Rostyn Griffiths came up with the winner 10 minutes after the interval.
Balcatta will be at home to Olympic Kingsway, who comfortably saw off Subiaco at Kingsway Reserve on Wednesday.
Goals from Reece Kral, Jacob Evans and Luke Hewings ensured the reigning NPL champions ran out 3-0 winners against their Division One opponents.
The winners of the two Round Seven games will also meet in the State Cup final.
