Inter-Divisional Play-Off Finals: Glory, Joondalup City and Swan all win

Perth Glory have avoided dropping out of the NPLWA - Men's competition after beating Dianella White Eagles in a one-sided Inter-Divisional Play-Off Final at the Sam Kerr Football Centre this afternoon.

Jaylan Pearman (3), Khoa Ngo (2), Adam Bugarija (2), Abdelelah Faisal, Daniel Jankuloski, Joel Anasmo and Sebastian Despotovski scored as Glory won 11-0.

Glory, who finished second bottom in the NPLM, were four up at the break, and they doubled that score within 10 minutes of the restart.

The result means Dianella, coached by former Glory A-League head coach Ian Ferguson, will remain in State League Division One where they finished second this year.
Joondalup City are heading to Division One as Inter-Divisional Play-Off winners after they beat Curtin University 1-0 in today's Division One/Division Two final.

The only goal at the Sam Kerr Football Centre came from City captain Liam Peacock five minutes before half-time.

This is the second successive year that Curtin have lost the play-off final. This time, however, they won't be too disappointed as they are set to be invited to join City in Division One as the team that replaces Joondalup United, who withdrew from the State League earlier this month.

The Play-Off finals got off to a great start as Swan United preserved their State League status with a thrilling 3-2 win over Belt Up Amateur Premier side Emerald FC.

Goals from Albert Amankwaa and Jake Fritchley had Swan 2-0 up at the break before Conor Hogan came off the bench for Emerald to score twice, including a stoppage-time equaliser.

Yet there was still time for more drama and Jordan Lyall was the hero as his free-kick deceived Emerald keeper Gerard Crehan and won the game for Swan.
