Approximately 250 players and an additional 250 team officials, referees, volunteers and spectators will gather at the Karratha Leisure Plex for the John Holland North West Championships on the weekend of 1-2 June.
Newman, Broome, Karratha, Hedland and Tom Price junior soccer associations and clubs will participate in the championships in a round-robin and finals format. The categories are U9, U11, U13, and U15 boys and girls teams.
Football West General Manager - Football David Lewis said: “We are delighted that John Holland will support the North West Championships for a second successive year.
“Many thanks to Karratha District Junior Soccer Association for hosting the championships, and the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries for their continued support for regional football.
“The John Holland North West Championships is an amazing weekend which sees regional players to come together, compete against each other and build long-lasting friendships. It will be a great two days of football in Karratha.”
