Maddington White City are heading to the Men's State League after they clinched the Belt Up Amateur Premier Division in incredible style on Sunday.

Maddington, who began the day in second place on goal difference, made sure of the title with an 8-2 hammering of Kwinana United at Mills Park.

East Perth, who went into the final round on top, saw their chances slip away with a 1-0 home loss to North Perth United which allowed Jaguar to finish second thanks to their 1-0 victory at Kelmscott Roos.

City, pipped for the league and promotion by South West Phoenix in 2021, will replace the relegated Bunbury club in State League Division Two.

A hat-trick from Farruh Mavlonov gave Maddington a flying start, while Mateo Galizia also netted as they raced into a 4-1 half-time lead. There was to be no let-up after the interval, as Jose Zuniga, David Sarria, Ramiro Costes and Samir Ramos all chipped in to leave the title outcome in no doubt.

Meanwhile, Hamad Hamad's early goal proved enough for Jaguar to win at Kelmscott and take second place. Jaguar had needed both Maddington and East Perth to drop points if they were to pinch the title but they did have the consolation of a runners-up spot.

That was after 10-man East Perth slipped up against North Perth, Connor Engelbrecht getting the only goal seven minutes into the second half.

At the bottom, Queens Park's relegation was made official with a 6-3 loss at Wembley Downs. Harry Browne and Luke Thistlethwaite both scored two for Wembley.

Also relegated were Quinns, who never recovered from conceding two goals in the opening nine minutes against Emerald. Ryan McCready pulled one back after the break but it wasn't enough, and that opened the door for Joondalup United who leapfrogged their northern neighbours by scoring twice in the final 10 minutes at Beldon Park to beat Peel United 3-2. Ryan Pellow and Drew Kirkpatrick were United's late heroes.

North Beach and South Perth United will replace Queens Park and Quinns in the Premier Division.
