Mathiang goal gives Glory Challenge Cup win

A second-half goal from Laat Mathiang gave Perth Glory victory over the Gold Fields WA Men's State Team last night in the Gold Fields Challenge Cup clash.

Mathiang fired low past keeper Luke Radonich 10 minutes from time after Kristian Santich's failed clearance.

Former Glory duo Neil Kilkenny and Rostyn Griffiths were the stand-outs for the State Team against a Glory side three weeks out from the start of the A-League season.

Football West would like to thank Gold Fields Australia as the name sponsor of the Challenge Cup and all of our State teams.
