The draw for the Men’s State League Night Series quarter-finals has taken place after the final Round Three matches were completed on Sunday.
Group winners Gwelup Croatia, Fremantle City, Mandurah City, Murdoch University Melville, Western Knights and Rockingham City were joined by the two best second-place finishers, Morley Windmills and Joondalup City.
The four matches will take place this Saturday, two at Ellenbrook United and two at Wanneroo City.
The games at Ellenbrook will see Gwelup taking on 2022 winners MUM FC (6pm), while Western Knights will meet Morley Windmills (8pm).
At the same time at Wanneroo, Rockingham face Mandurah, followed by Fremantle against Joondalup City.

Gwelup ensured they finished as Group A winners with a 4-1 win over Maddington White City on Sunday. Two goals from Charlie Breen, one from Mella Loding and an own goal saw Gwelup overturn an early Maddington strike.
That result killed off Kingsley Westside’s chances of winning the group. Goals from Hayden Lowe and Ilya Nebylytsya (2) gave Steve Dimitrovich’s side a 3-2 win over Joondalup United on Friday but they needed Gwelup and Maddington to draw.
MUM FC were all but mathematically through before Sunday’s clash against UWA Nedlands and they wrapped up their third straight win without conceding to top Group D. Christos Vaenas’ hat-trick made it five goals in three games for the striker, while Taj Bingwa got the other in a 4-0 victory.
In the same group, Joondalup City’s 2-1 win over Carramar Shamrock Rovers proved enough for them to qualify in second place.
Western Knights have also gone through with an unblemished record. Their 5-0 win over Wanneroo City meant they were uncatchable in Group E, Alex Kretowicz (2), Shay Donovan (2) and Lucas Triglavcanin their scorers.
Dianella White Eagles missed out on a best runners-up spot after they lost 2-1 to Balga. Daniel McKenzie scored for Eagles but Karl Maluga and Nathan Scully ensured Balga finished on a high.
Following Swan United’s win over Ashfield on Friday, Rockingham City knew they had to beat Subiaco on Sunday to advance. They got off to a good start thanks to Jayden Leader’s opener and Will Hayes completed the win after the break.
Mandurah City completed the formalities in Group C on Friday with a 2-1 win over Canning City. That left Forrestfield United and Curtin University to fight it out for second spot at Crazy Domains Stadium on Sunday. Curtin grabbed the lead inside two minutes through Oscar Wright and despite Forrestfield’s best efforts, they were unable to find an equaliser.
Unfortunately for Curtin the win wasn’t enough to book a spot in the quarter-finals, as Fremantle City and Morley Windmills both went through from Group B.
Fremantle became the third team to qualify with a 100% record and no goals conceded as they put six past Gosnells City - Patrick Loughrey (2), Oliver Parry, Patrick Loughrey, Roberto Soares, Martim Bento Galvao and Alex Mclean the scorers. Morley did their bit on Friday by thrashing Quinns 8-2.
