Milan and Roma visit delights 56,000 crowd

A round-up of last week's visit to Perth of Serie A duo AC Milan and AS Roma

AC Milan and AS Roma put on an entertaining game at Optus Stadium on Friday where the imperious Paolo Dybala helped Daniele De Rossi’s Roma side get the better of the seven-time European champions 5-2.

And no doubt what the highlight was for the 56,522 fans, the worldie scored by Milan's French star Theo Hernandez.

The night before, the two sides held open training sessions at HBF Park where Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic was in attendance.

The healthy crowd paid $5 each to attend the back-to back sessions, with all the money going to Telethon7 Perth.

Earlier in the week, AS Roma legends David Pizarro, Aldair and Max Tonettto visited the Sam Kerr Football Centre, along with Deputy Premier Rita Saffioti MLA.

Despite the rain, the three former stars had a ball as they joined youngsters involved with the Football Futures Foundation and local clubs including Perth SC, Perth Saints, Murdoch University Melville, Armadale and Bayswater City.
