Football West would like to congratulate its six match officials who have been appointed for the upcoming A-League Men's season and inaugural Australian Championship.

The Football Australia Elite Refereeing Department, in collaboration with the Referees Committee, recently finalised its Match Officials Panels for the respective competitions.

Shane Skinner is on the A-League Men's Referees Panel for a fourth season, while Arvin Shanmuganathan is again on the Assistant Referees Panel for the 2025/26 campaign. Shanmuganathan first officiated in the A-League in 2017.

Liam Barclay and Niall Gillmore are on the Referees Panel, with Lawson Rimmer and Liam Howgate on the Assistant Referees Panel. Barclay refereed his first Australia Cup tie earlier this year when he took charge of the Perth Glory-Wellington Phoenix Round of 32 tie.
