Armadale sit top of Group A in the #NPLWA - Men's Night Series after they made it two wins from two with a 3-1 victory over Balcatta at Dalmatinac Park.

Ben Hinshelwood's second goal in as many weeks had Balcatta up at the break. But Armadale turned it around after the interval through a Daniel Robinson penalty and further goals from Peter Jacobsz and Amir Ajan.

Floreat Athena looked set to join Armadale on maximum points thanks to Nicholas Ambrogio's first-half penalty at Frank Drago Reserve. However, for the second week running Perth SC pinched a draw with a late goal, this time through Abdul Osman's header with the final touch of the match.

Stirling Macedonia also struck late as they beat hosts Bayswater City 1-0 to join Floreat on four points. Alex Tanevski, who scored two against Perth in Round One, netted the winner.

In Group B, home side Cockburn City and Perth RedStar both collected their first point with a 1-1 draw. John Guya's effort had City ahead at half-time, only for Daryl Nicol to earn RedStar a draw near the end.

There are two more games from Group B at Inglewood Stadium on Sunday. Olympic Kingsway face Perth Glory at 5pm, then Inglewood United take on Sorrento (7pm).
