With one round of the group stage remaining, there are three semi-final spots up for grabs in the 2025 NPLM Night Series.

Second-place Armadale missed the opportunity to join Olympic Kingsway as qualifiers from Group A after they drew 3-3 with Bayswater City last night.

Sean McManus struck first for Baysie at Frank Drago Reserve before Pieter Jacobsz and a double from Amir Ajan had Armadale on track for the last four. However, late goals by Gordon Smith and Luke Palmateer earned the 2024 finalists a draw and kept alive their hopes of going through.

Armadale still hold the advantage knowing a win over Perth Glory next week will take them through.

The other Group A game saw Fremantle City beat Balcatta Etna 4-0. Charlie Chechlacz and Karl Moody netted before the break, followed by a second-half double by Sam Cook. Despite the result, neither side can make the semis.

On Friday, group leaders Olympic drew 2-2 with Glory. Lebib Lebib and Jayden Gorman put Olympic two ahead, with Max Naylor and an own goal earning Glory a draw.

Meanwhile, five teams are still in contention in Group B following Saturday's double-header at Macedonia Park.

Leaders Stirling Macedonia have a two-point advantage over Perth RedStar, Sorrento FC and Western Knights going into the final round, with Perth SC a further point back.

Last night, Stirling drew 1-1 with Sorrento FC, Joshua Bilaloski's opener for Stirling cancelled out by Phoenix Lee.

This followed Perth RedStar's thrilling 7-3 victory over Floreat Athena. Daryl Nicol scored four for RedStar, with Matty George, Theo Leeming and Blair Govan also on target. Bala Noah Shamaki (2) and Jack Sprigg were the scorers for Florent, the one side in Group B who cannot progress.

On Friday, Western Knights came from 2-1 down to defeat Perth SC 3-2. Justin Tang, Alex Pomeroy and Jesse Lazzaro got Knights' goals, with Michael Scafetta and Federico Achilli on target for the Azzurri.
