Register: Football West to conduct B Diploma course

Football West will conduct a new AFC B Diploma coaching course on behalf of Football Australia.

Football West Coach Development Officer Cris Ola will run the course at Gibbney Reserve, Maylands, on the following dates:

Part one – from Monday 8 May to Saturday 13 May 2023 (six full days, 8.30am to 5.30pm)

Part two – from Monday 6 November to Saturday 11 November 2023 (six full days, 8.30am to 5.30pm)

Candidates are required to attend 100 per cent of the coaching course.

Eligibility

To register for the B Diploma, a coach must be:

• In possession of a valid Football Australia/AFC C Diploma (or international equivalent) and have held the Diploma for a minimum six months

• A minimum 18 years of age

The cost of the course is $2,300 (inc GST).

Coaches who complete the new Football Australia/AFC B Diploma course will gain automatic C Diploma reaccreditation for three years.

Working With Children Check

All coaches attending a Diploma course must possess a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).

Football Australia will not issue a certificate to any coach not in possession of a valid WWCC.

Please note - to align with the Asian Football Confederation, Football Australia now refers to the course as a B Diploma (not a licence)
