Register for FREE all-female goalkeeper coaching course
Football West is running a FREE all-female goalkeeper coaching course.
The Foundations of Goalkeeping coaching course is open to women aged 18 and over ready to help bring through the next generation of keepers.
The course will take place at the Sam Kerr Football Centre on Sunday 1 December between 8.30am and 4.30pm.
The Foundations of Goalkeeping course usually $100 costs but it is FREE thanks to the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries’ Female Community Legacy Program.
Football West Manager - Female Football & Advocacy Tash Rigby said: “We want to provide opportunities for women to upskill, give back to the community, increase their employability and provide them with another opportunity to make additional income.
“We are also looking to increase the pool of female goalkeeper coaches as it is so important that there are role models within this space to inspire the next generation and to continue to provide learning spaces led by women for women.”
To register for the course, you must have a profile/account on the Football Australia Learning Centre platform.
If you do not have a Learning Centre profile/account, follow these two simple steps:
- 1. Click the link https://www.playfootball.com.au/club-registration-search and search 'Learner', select the state you are located in and proceed with the registration process
- 2. After completing Step 1, you will need to wait 48 hours before being able to use the Football Australia Learning Centre link to access the new learning platform https://learn.footballaustralia.com.au/training/index.cfm?event=page.login
Please ensure you log in as a 'Football Australia Learner'.
Once you have a Learning Centre profile/account, log in here https://learn.footballaustralia.com.au/training/index.cfm?event=event.assessment.view&eventId=67343e69c190c1001a1ab506.
Click 'Training Event' then search Foundation of Goalkeeping on 1/12 and you will be able to enrol for the course.
