Register now: FREE Female and Gender Diverse match official courses

Football West is pleased to announce the second round of Female and Gender Diverse match official courses.

The courses will be FREE and are open to people aged 13+ with dates and venues to be confirmed once all expressions of interest have been received.

Everyone who completes the course will receive a full referee kit, whistle and cards.

Football West Manager - Female Football & Advocacy Tash Rigby said: “We were blown away with how well received the first courses were last year and we are excited to offer them again.

“Starting in refereeing can be a bit daunting for anyone, but especially for females and gender-diverse people which is why these courses are so important.

“We want to keep as many people in the game as possible and from the feedback we received last year, we are confident there will be a strong take-up for the latest courses.”

Football West would like to acknowledge the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries for supporting the Female and Gender Diverse Junior Match Official Courses as part of the Female Football Community Legacy Program.
