The first Regional Festival of Football to be sponsored by the Insurance Commission of Western Australia will take place between 19-25 May.
The week will consist of multiple programs, including school clinics, coaching and referee courses and Club Changer club support workshops.
Highlights include the two Round Nine NPL matches at Hay Park in Bunbury on Saturday 24 May.
The NPLWA – Men’s game between Perth Glory and league champions Olympic Kingsway will kick off at 5pm.
This will be followed by the NPLWA – Women’s fixture involving the Hyundai Football West Academy and 2024 title winners Perth RedStar (7pm).
Football West General Manager – Football David Lewis said: “Football West is looking forward to heading back to the South West and showcasing some of the best talent in the state.
“There will be programs across the region, and they are always well supported there.
“This is the first time we have partnered with the Insurance Commission of WA for the festival and it is an opportunity to share the hugely important Belt Up road safety message.
“Football West would also like to thank the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries and the City of Bunbury for their support for the Belt Up Regional Festival of Football.”
Details of the programs will be confirmed in the lead-up to the festival.
The South West region previously hosted the Regional Festival of Football in 2019 and 2022.
